Drinking at Thirsty and Miserable. Started with He’Brew Genesis Dry Hopped session ale. Then moved onto Nickel Brook’s Bolshevik Bastard. Always enjoy both.
Hanging out with this lady at work… (at Great Lakes Brewing)
Chilling in the beer fridge. Literally. (at Duke of Westminster)
Today’s read. Looking to expand my beer brain over the next while…
Le Trou Du Diable’s, La Buteuse. 10.5%. Extra strong beer with spices. A Belgian-inspired triple that’s hella tasty. One of my favourites.
The Hitachino owl. Just had the Hitachino Nest Beer XH-matured in sake casks. 7% and you can definitely smell the sake! Great layers of taste.
Last night we discovered one last bottle of GLB’s Audrey Hopburn in the house. Such a great beer. Nice and crisp taste, just the right amount of hoppiness.
He’Brew Genesis dry hopped session ale, 4.7%. Malty flavour for sure. 5 malts, 3 hops, 3 dry hops. (at WVRST)
Beau’s Vassar Heirloom Ale, 6.7%. Part of the wild oats series. An American blonde ale. Super tasty. (at WVRST)
Excited to try my first fishEYE-PA! @drinkgoodbeer
